  1. This is so incredibly useful, I will be modifying those lists over the weekend. Let me know if any others! I don't use templates, so it's up to you guys to tell me what you want. XD
  2. I think I found the issue. Try again! (sorry about the hassle <3)
  3. Sounds like your account switch might be timing out before you submit. It helps to open a new tab with RPG-Connect open, and ensure that you're still "User as Site" in the userbar, give that a refresh to continue your session. Otherwise by the time you hit "save", it has you under your personal account which has no permissions to edit the listing. As for the missing fields - they should show now!
  4. This has been fixed, and a few other CSS tweaks along with it. 😄 Wow. Wow, me. Cause that isn't the whole point of a site account at all... I've fixed that terrible permissions error, and apologies!

  6. Mostly... my characters don't shut up. I often sound crazy when I explain it, but I interact with them in my daily life. I could be out shopping and see an item of clothing that I wouldn't wear, but goodness gracious Adele loves it. Mea thinks it's far to high above the knee, which is exactly why Adele loves it and Mea doesn't think her mother really should be wearing anything that revealing. Alan's confused because he's pretty sure it looks like the last four dresses we saw that no one liked, and Kate reckons that shade of blue would make her look dead. And so it goes. An imagined conversation in my head. Keeps me amused when I'm out and bored, but also provides a good insight into the characters and how their thought-patterns might play out. I don't really have a more formal means of character development. Just always keep questioning "what would my character do if...?"
  7. At first I was confused as to how I missed "historical" as a genre, but then I remembered I was going to split it. So my question to you guys, is: Is it better to have these time-specific tags included as "genre", or would it be beneficial to have it separated out as a "time period" field? So you would round these out with "current time" and "futuristic" with "alternate universe" to denote whether a site is remaining true to history (or canon in the case of fandoms)?
  8. Probably one of the absolute joys of running a community over a long period of time is the honour of being there as so many wonderful human beings found their next level of awesome. I'm blessed to know each and every one of you, and to @Chromatic Canon particularly today, you're always in my heart. ❤️

  9. Well, would you look at that, passengers! We've got over 100 members already! This is cause for a celebration, and a chance to have your site featured on our sidebar for a whole month! It's time for the Submission Mission! By now, you may be familiar with the Top Submitters system. This gathers your points for every submission type you make to RPG-Connect, whether that's for reviewing sites, listing your active requests, bringing new members to RPG-Connect, or submitting your resources. The more submissions you make, the higher you climb the Top Submitters ladder. The Submission Mission works off that same principle, and will use the points from the Top Submitters ladder -- but with one significant difference! For this competition, you may form teams to support a particular roleplay community that you would like to see featured in our sidebar for the month of December! All submissions since the opening of Connect until November 30th will count. To ensure that sites with fewer supporters aren't pushed out of the running, the team's final score will be the total of all points from all members, divided by the total number of members participating. Ready? Let's get started! To declare your participation, reply to this topic with the following: Your battle cry Your team (link to the site's entry in the Roleplay Site Directory - Once you paste the link into the editor, it should insert the listing for you) Some rules All competitions must have them. These ones are rather simple. All resources you submit must be your own. All resources must have been submitted by November 30th to be eligible. Sites must be listed in the directory to be supported You may advertise your site's participation in this competition on your community discord and OOC areas Good luck, and have fun guys! Love always, Your Sadri.
